This EP was written when I was on my way to and when I arrived to California in 2022. My anxiety kept resulting in me having these terrible nightmares and with me waking up in the middle of the night, dissociating and feeling like I wasn’t alive. I was in a constant state of questioning whether or not I was actually awake or still dreaming and I wrote these songs to help me cope. The EP was partially recorded in LA and partially recorded here in my hometown of Chicago.
It was also a sound design test cause I wanted to see how album flow could work between tracks.
